Glandore is regarded as one of Ireland's most beautiful sea inlets ideally located in the West Coast of County Cork. It is not wonder it is such a much sought after holiday home destination to several well-known personalities & executives.
Glandore is well-known historically for the ancient Drombeg Stone Circle located 1 mile from the village that dates back 6000 years ago.
It's position in the path of the Gulf Stream ensures a mild climate all year round. Consequently its flora is diverse and of great interest, as plants are found in bloom here, out of season. Local activities include: Sailing, Angling, Golf, swimming, beaches, walking, water sports, & pony trekking.
