Movies Fancy Dress Night August 2008

The Movies themed fancy dress night at the Marine was held on Saturday 9th of August. It was a roaring success with a great turn out. Celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Batman's Joker, Wayne and Garth from Waynes world, the Flintstones and William Wallace of Braveheart were to name but a few to grace the scene.

Congratulations to Justin Connolly of Leap on his win over the weekend. A surprised and delighted Justin was the sole winner of Sunday the 27th of July Kilmacabea G.A.A. Joint Lotto. He picked up a prize cheque for €3,750. A well-deserved winner by all accounts.

Sunbeams live music at the Glandore Marine Bar, West Cork, Ireland

The Sunbeams performed live at the Marine in Glandore on Saturday the 19th and Friday the 25th of July 2008 . They played an array of music through out the night. It was a very relaxed evening. The Sunbeams are a tight group and great performers. Although the acoustic style they played on the night is not their usual playlist they were well received by the audience out for a quite night.
